3. You Tube- You can have a computer in your room that students do not use unblocked so that you are able to use video to engage students. (Free)
4. Spicynodes.org- This is an amazing site that allows you to build interactive mind maps with embedded video and pictures. Check out the one I put in the side bar. (Free)
5. Google Docs- sign up for a google account and have a place to organize all your documents for easy access. Lost an overhead? just access your google docs account from any computer and print another copy, it's as easy as that. (Free)

6. Animoto- is great for making video from photos that you have. It trumps what ppt can do and is really easy to use. ($30/year)
7. Elluminate- web conferencing tool. Are you doing something you need to show a lot of other people great distances away, well here is the tool. (Not Free)
8. Glogster- Create posters with limitless potential. (Free)

9. Gmail- access email from anywhere and have it sync to your calender, site, reader, docs, and so much more. It is easy to sign up and use. (Free)
10. Google Sites- build a web site or wiki for your class to access. Put everything you need to teach your classes in one spot.
11. Google Reader- keeps all your favorite web sites in one easy place to access. (Free)

12. Google Calender- Build and update a calender for your classroom that sends you reminders about upcoming events and tests so you never forget. (Free)
13. iTunes- Share your favorite music with the students. Create a great atmosphere to learn in.
14. iTunes University- Have the students learn a concept on their own ,then expand on it and teach the thinking component of the KUTICA the next day. OR, having trouble remembering how ionic and covalent bonding occur, turn to iTunes university for help. Have a professor from Cal Tech or Berkeley explain it to you.

15. Learn it in 5- is a powerful library of how-to videos, produced by technology teachers, for the purpose of helping teachers and students create classroom strategies for today's 21st century's digital classroom. These step-by-step how-to videos walk teachers through Web 2.0 technology, demonstrating how to use Web 2.0 applications like blogs, social networks, podcasts, interactive videos, wikis, slidesharing and so much more. 16. Online-convert.com- Convert file types for any reason you may think of. MP4 to WAV, easily done here. (Free)
17. Prezi- make exciting presentation with Prezi. Great for an intro to a unit or as a review. (Free)
18. Slideshare- Do you need a presentation for civics class on democracy? Check if someone has already created one and download it from slideshare. (Free)
19. Vimeo- Vimeo is a respectful community of creative people who are passionate about sharing the videos they make. We provide the best tools and highest quality video in the universe. (Free)

20. Wikipedia- find almost anything you'll need to know on wikipedia. Free online encyclopedia. Check out the links on the page to wikibooks, wikiversity, and muck more. (Free)

21. Wordpress.org- make your own blog or wiki, or find interesting blogs to follow.

22. xtranormal- If you can type, you can make movies. Great class projects.

23.Zamzar- On line file converter. ppt to flash video, no problem.
